Let me start by explaining my drive line: I have a 350 sm465 np208. Now there is an adapter in between the trans and tcase to adapt the figure 8 bolt pattern on the trans to the round 6 bolt pattern on the t case. Now my question is this: the t case is on a slant like it would normally be. Is it possible just to on bolt the t case and rotate it so that is has a steeper angle and therefore correct front drive shaft angle after i put my lift on.

NO , I would not do that , I dont think it would oil properly and I have never seen it done before. How much lift are you going to run ? Just drop the t-case cross member and you will be good to go , (up to 8" or 10" lift) , or change the t-case to an older model so the slip is in the driveshaft not the t-case.

ill be running a 6 inch now and an 8 eventually. I just wasnt sure if it would all work without dropping something. Would just a regular T case drop kit work? I've heard bad things about them.

you could add a 2 inch shim to the crossmember to drop the rear. but with just a 6 ro 8 inch lift i wouldnt think its a problem

With an 8" lift and a 208 t-case you will have to have a longer front & rear driveshaft and you will have to lower the t-case crossmember a bit. What I always do is use 1/4" steel plate and drill it , put like 2 plate's on each side ,(= 1/2" drop) and drive it down the freeway and see if there is any vibration , if there is add more plate's until you run smooth down the freeway. All trucks are a little different. You want to use as little drop as possible , ( just enough to run smooth). You problably wont have to go 2".

Yes, you don't want your distributor kissing the firewall, lol. When I lifted the blue one in my sig, I used the factory spacers that were on the bottom side of the cross member, just stuck them on the top side and it was fine.

what you want to do is called clocking the t-case. not sure if it'd work sounds good tho, as others said oiling would not be the same then and may cause issues.

On some trucks yes they did. You got to crawl under and take a look man. Factory spacers look like a steel collar, about 3/4 diameter and a inch or two long.

Its wierd some were below the frame and crossmember and some were ontop of the frame but were never between the frame and crossmember from the factory.

Mine are in between the crossmember and frame almost like a drop kit. I'm just trying to figure out whats on there already when i get the new lift kit.

If they are already between the frame and crossmember and you didnt put them their then somebody already did it. They were either above the frame or below the frame but never between them from the factory.
