I bought this truck without a motor (full build thread coming soon)
I am ready to install the engine I put together but cant
figure out where this wiring heat shield tube mounts?
Looks like it protects the wiring from the factory Header type exhaust
manifold. This truck has the Federal "M" emissions with the stainless
exhaust manifolds and pipes.
Anybody have a similar installation they can send a photo of?

Does it bolt where the ground strap goes maybe, pointing down? I cant think where the bracket would bolt to

The photo is a little misleading, the harness is draped over the AC unit when I was re-taping everything. I think the tube mounts
down next to the starter somewhere.

If you have an automatic it bolts to the 2nd bolt from the bottom passenger side of the tranny and the other end bolts to the outer solinoid bolt. its the same for manual or auto

ive seen people use conduit and just use appropiate clamps, might be cheaper or easier

You could just make one....or route the wires better than factory
