So I was at Trollhaugen riding the trails this weekend. The truck did great other than the fact that it would run fine for about a minute then start bogging, droning and misfiring real bad on 4 to 6 cylinders (I think) It would loose a lot of power, idle down to about 600 rpm and barely run. When I would hit the gas at all it would barely bring up the RPM's and it would keep running bad and dying if I tried to put the truck in gear and move it unless it was on flat ground with no resistance. I replaced the distributor cap, rotor, ignition module, Saturday night and plug wires a few weeks ago. I am really at a loss on what it could be at this point and it's starting to piss me off.

I would take a look at the floats. They could be binding in the carb once your truck hits an incline and not allowing enough fuel into the carb itself. Just a thought.

Carb might make sense. Fuel delivery would make sense because when I was trying to "hot rod" it through mud holes it would surge along with the other issues. I'll check my carb and see what I find.
