Rochester Varajet II Carb adjustment

hello,
Was wondering if anyone had any info on adjusting a 2 barrel Rochester varajet carburetor, my truck runs for a couple seconds after I kill the ignition and rattles the exhaust pretty good. Thinking I'm running rich or the engine is still running after I turn off the truck, I've heard this described as "deiseling" but had some trouble identifying the adjustment screws on the carb. Anyone know of any online links?

You may want to check your timing before you go adjusting the carb.

Yes, check timing first thing... You should have something similar to this on the side of the carb facing the the valve cover, that adjust idle speed and closes the the throttle blade completely to stop after run, air mixture screw will be facing the front at the bottom, at least that's the way it is on mine..

Good and inexpensive usually don't go together too well, lol, been using this one for around 10yrs now been working great so far..
