Reverse polarity on battery

Hello all. In an attempt to jump start an 83 square last evening the jumper cables were crossed on the 83. After discovery because of some sparks and smoke, we got them hooked up correctly. However upon trying to start the truck we only had headlights. No crank and no gauges. What all might have been damaged? Fuses, fusible link? Thank you.

Happy to report it was indeed a fusible link but it was the one located on the firewall junction block. Truck started right up. Many thanks.
