anyone know how to replace the standard wheel with the sport style steering wheel?

u need a steering wheel puller and the rest is easy if you have some mechanic skills

my issue is that the depth seems to be different because I pulled the old one and tried the 4 spoke and it wouldn't slide all the way on

did you use the bolt to send it all the way down

i slid one of those onto my 74, worked great. much better than the stock thin wheel.

Yeah I tried sliding it on and it wouldn't go down far enough for me to thread on the nut

Pictures would really help with this. How much space is there between the steering wheel and the top of the column? If its not touching you may have to just give it a few love taps.

now just to get my engine compartment light wired into the truck. Someone cut the old one out.

Hey, did you get your new wheel's horn button connected? If not, let me know and I'll take some pictures of how I did mine.

I've a 1975, and I swapped in a steering wheel that looks just like the one that you put in yours.
