2-3 weeks ago mine sounded like it spun a bearing, Turns out
the top of the power steering bracket was broken off at the
top bolt close to the bolt and someone tried to weld it back
(Still Broken) vibration sounded like a spun bearing.

Temporarily tightened all, bolts were dirty froze loose (vibration).
Noise went away ha, sounded so much better.
Just ordered a new ebay PS Bracket.

@usar17 : i'm having the same issue, heavy vibration when locked up and trying to accelearte slowly (so the TCC keeps locked up). If the TCC unlocks the vibration stops. Is there a way to check ignition being good under load ?

Check for spark on all lines. I think there is a tool for that.
