How long did GM keep making the squarebody trucks after the year 1988?

My dad may be possibly be trading his ford for a 89 Chevy 1 ton (3500). I was just wondering what the chances that it would be a square or would it be the GMT400/OBS style?

I googled pictures for 1989 Chevy t ton and I got mixed results.

The crew cabs, Suburbans, Blazers, and Jimmies were made in the rounded line style until 1991. If it's a crew cab, it's a square. However, in regard to sizes, you could get a 3500 crew cab and it be a square body or a 3500 single/extended cab and it be a GMT400 between the years of 1988-1991

Unless it's a cab/chassis, through 1989 the C/Cs were square or GMT400.
