positive wire to gas tank question

Hey guys,

My 86 k20 i have been redoing i had to run alot of new wiring, along with that pink wire that goes the postive on the sending unit on thegas tank.

I can not findd an after market connector for that sending unit.

THe plug looks like a little nipple haha and im not sure whats the best way to make a new one or make somthing that will work.

Pics would be great.
Help!

What's a "nipple haha"?

I believe he is referring to the signal stud on the top of the sending unit attached to the tank. Commonly a red covered wire looking like a baseball cap is plugged into that nipple and ran from the sending unit to the back of the fuel gauge (I believe it is a pink wire)

When I did my rewire I saved the connector and resoldered the new wire to it ill look around to see if I have any extras if not ill see if I can find one online for ya

Wow I looked for awhile online I can't find anything haha have you tried asking the other members if they have a scrap truck or parts truck you could get one from?

I think, the parts stores might have a similar connector, made to fit the brake stud on the brake light switch of the older ford, dodge, etc. vehicles.
I know I have seen them on the racks with the wiring.
