Wish my tailgate was mechanical :(

Do you happen to have a hood ornament, Shawn?

I don't see why you couldn't convert it, I think the two pieces are the same size. All you'd have to have is all the mechanical parts.

Highly doubt it, I hated those things, took them all off and tossed them. I'll look thou.

Oh, was your Jimmy's tailgate window crank still in one piece?

Hello, I answered your question, and yet I have not heard a response.

Sorry dude, I waited to see if Cob wanted to swap over, but I forgot about it after that. Yeah, I can definitely use a good window crank/handle. If you had a key to go along with it, that would be very useful too. Actually if you have a matched set of door locks from your K5, that would be absolutely swell. I've never had a door key for my '77.

The rest of my K5's tailgate guts are in good condition. If it comes time to scrap the tailgate and you haven't sold the guts out of it, let me know I guess. Spare parts aren't ever a bad thing.

Hey I know it's a long shot and shipping would maybe make it impossible anyway, but...

Did your K5 have good/decent rear interior side panels?

I have the key to the doors, tail gate, glove box, and center console. Tail gate is already taken apart. All the tailgate parts are sitting in a box.

I redid my rear panels years ago, they are not OE, but they are in good shape.

The console and glove box aren't lockable on mine. Well, maybe the glove box is. I never paid attention to it since I didn't have a key anyway. I suppose go ahead and add the door locks and the tailgate stuff to my tab, just let me know how much you want for everything.

My rear panels are in good shape, but they are from an '82. From what I remember, the '77 would have originally had walnut woodgrain inserts.

Do you have a pic? The part numbers mean nothing to me. I have a few A/C boxes around I'm sure I have it. Just not sure what you are after.

I need rear seat belts for a 76 k5 in burgundy, and the spare tire bolts that hold the spare tire to the hanger for a k5 as well.
