Anybody have part numbers for a dual exhaust system used (or would fit) on a 1983 C2500 pickup with 350M engine code? No catalytic converters, AIR or other emissions items.

I'm reverting back from a cobbled up header job with dual exhaust but would like to keep duals. When entering in the truck info, NAPA site just has the parts listed for a single exhaust system. The local shop that bent exhaust pipe closed so I would like to find off-the-shelf numbers for pipes to use the truck.

For exhaust manifolds, I've got just a pair of basic stock manifolds to use, nothing fancy like rams horns, headers, etc.

Look in like LMC, jegs, or summit, jc Whitney. They I believe sell complete kits. But if you look on a different parts site I believe you should be able to find the individual part numbers for what you want. Try Rock Auto, advance Auto or a different one.

This company sells a kit for manifold duals. I used one on my truck. Over all ok, I did deviate from there original design slightly. Only complaints are its only 2.25 " pipes and there mufflers were necked down to what looked like 2"

I used a Heartthrob kit on my 82 C10, although I had to modify the head pipes to fit my later model manifolds from a Vortec engine. It's a very nice kit using 2-1/4" aluminized mandrel-bent pipes, which may be the equivalent of "crush-bent" 2-1/2 pipes.

As mentioned above, the stock replacement mufflers are crap, but you can get the kit w/o mufflers and use some name brand performance mufflers instead. Also, you have a choice of tailpipe exits: Under the bumper or out the side behind the rear tires.

I spoke with a guy at Heartthrob who actually bent the pipes, and then bought my kit from Auto Accessories Garage. The price was very reasonable after a new customer discount and free shipping.

Do I have to be concerned about which stock manifolds I'm using and how they fit with these systems? The manifolds that I have are LH 14079295 and RH 14034069 (with the heat shield/stovepipe).

I'd call or e-mail Heartthrob.
