I think I’ve got the polarity reversed, will that cause the pump to spin backwards? Pump comes on when key turned to run but my pressure gauge at the TBI shows zero. Only other thing I can think of is I got the hoses at the sending unit (same size fittings) reversed but I don’t think so - would have been hard to do.

Reason I think polarity is reversed: I took apart the walbro connector that came with the pump to try and eliminate a splice to factory connector, but it didn’t work out. Put the walbro connector back together but realize now I was not paying attention to which color went to which side.

Yep, that fixed it, running great now. Can't believe my boneheaded move - the whole time I was working on this I realized the pump was polarity specific, I just spaced it when I put that connector back together and forgot that I'd have a 50% chance of doing it wrong.
