Oops... Too late! This listing was so awesome that it's already gone. Check out othe

Tough luck - and it doesn't matter now but the transmission was probably just a stock TH400 and you could have just lifted it in. The driveshaft would have been a straight exchange as well.

What about this one:

1986 chevy 1500 4x4. It has a newly rebuilt 350 (pretty much everything under the hood is new, $5600 last year) It has a 700r4 transmission but the reverse is shot. Has new 2 1/2 inch dual exhaust with glass packs (it has a nice rumble to it). 33" tires also have a spare on a rim. Headache rack.

$2900 obo

Was going to flip the truck and put a new transmission and body on but i do not have the time or cash.

Jerry talking now: Looks pretty sweet (as in the steel still appears to be in good shape) and the price is right.

The 700r4 is shot but you were looking at a swap anyway.

And if you are not a fan of those billet crap grills I have a complete front end for sale cheap. All OEM and all perfect - $150 for you (cause you just had a tough break):
