Hey everyone. New to the site. I just picked up a 1984 k10 305, granny low 4 speed, a/c, FM/am/cassette, vinyl seat, rubber floor, headliner, full gauge set. Pretty decent truck for being a Midwest gal. Future plans: 350 swap, headers and full true dual exhaust(love the soundand and tone of true duals over a single), minor lift.

what brand and height of lift are you planning on?

I haven't really dug too far into brand but I was thinking either 2 or 4 inch and running around a 33" tire. I like the old steel wheel with the beauty rings, so prolly just pull them off and paint the rim black.

You could also do a shackle flip on the rear, and use some 52" rear springs on the front. Lift kit front springs tend to ride like a log wagon.

I am in Spencer, Indiana. Just west of Bloomington. And yes those or my "driving" lights in the grill(westin 5.5" led). I have thought about the shackle flip and 52s but I need new leafs on the rear anyway. Its got a gangster lean to the right side. I gotta make sure to take plenty of pictures along the way. First order of business is getting my fuel gauge to work. It reads way past full, I have 12v to gauge. Reads nothing for resistance at the tank. So I am guessing its bad sending units or I have a broken wire somewhere. Any ideas?
