Just bought a 1987 K10 Silverado standard cab long bed. Has a 350 and 700r4 crate motor/trans with around 60-70k on them. 350 I believe to be 87-95 (the vertical intake bolts says so to me). 700r4 slips a bit in reverse but I'll do the clutch packs in the eventful future.

The saddle tanks were removed and a 31 gallon K5 tank was put between the rails by the previous owner.

The plans for her:

6" all spring
35" tire
Tube Doors
Rust patch fixing(bedsides)/weld off the old fuel doors.
Clean up and paint ;)
Get rid of the visor in lieu of a led light bar.

Bought it just to have a nice old truck. I have a '79 f100 2wd for the street, wanted a playtoy for the mud and woods. I live 10 min from rausch creek up here.

Welcome! Just out of curiosity, do you not like the visor? I thought you could bolt a light bar up under it with a little creative bracket making.

It's not really that I don't like it, it's that the orange lens's have the rear bracket removed and no way to mount bulbs of any sort in(the mounting area looks like someone just broke off the light system to use on something else).

I did think about getting an LED light bar and re-glassing it to just receive like a 42" straight bar, but that's up in the air.
