Need help identifying engine

I bought this truck a few days ago. It's A 1982 Chevy k10. Originally had a manual and has a been swapped to an automatic. (How to id what auto it has?)

It looks like they have tried swapped in a Tuned port injection engine doesn't run. Don't know if it's the original block with the manifold on it or what. How do I find out. The block is a GM5.0LG witch is obviously a 305. Witch could have come from a camaro. But not sure. So I need a direction took to find what I need to get running.

It would be a cool looking swap b

Well TPI you are right. Transmission you would need to get us a shot of that.

Come to find out the engine is from a 1988 firebird formula with 305ci TPI.
Now to find a wiring schematic so I can sort out this wiring mess the last owner had going.
