my truck already has a 6inch lift, with springs up front and 2" blocks and a shackle flip in the rear. I'm wondering how big of lifted leaf springs I need to get rid of the blocks in the rear? or how to measure how much lift I gain with the the shackle flip?

What kind of shackle flip is it? A common kit usually accounts for about 4 inches, but a home brewed setup could be about anything.

If you have a total of 6", and your rear has 2" blocks, you have 4"shackle flip(that's if your truck sits level as is). You would need 2" spring lift to do away with the blocks.

I don't know much about it, was already on the truck when I bought it.

and val, I was wondering if they might have re arched the factory spring to get more lift, hence why they are broken?
