Looking for turbo setups specifically. Would love to run a single turbo on mine for a little extra pep. Would need to get a non intergrated head though.

Need to find a pic, but the last I6 I messed with was a 292 Dad and I built to replace an underpowered Iron Duke in a 19' Bowrider. It was a much cheaper repower/upgrade as we only needed to buy one expensive exhaust manifold. We put a Q-Jet on it, which took a while to get jetted right. That thing would get on plane in a wink no matter what load was in the boat, and got incredible fuel economy. The boat has since been replaced by a 22' with a 350, and we wish this boat had that old 292 in it.

Come on people!!!! I know some of you are hiding some nasty 6 bangers under your hood!! Mine is a rusty old 250. All I have done is delete the smog pump (actually increased my top end acceleration and top speed) plugs, water pump, alternator, radiator, heater hoses(and core), upper radiator hose, thermostat housing gasket and thermostat, deleted a few useless vacuum lines.
