They should, on pre-90 models. '90 and up are different size socket and the bulbs are soldered in.

What's on your speedometer?

seat belt. lol a sticker the PO had on the speedo. Never cared to take it off.

Do you find those to be too bright ?

Not really, I always hated how dim my lights were on my 79' and when I got my 77' it had about half of the light out. So this was a welcomed change from before.

Can you still 'DIM' these lights with the headlight control, or are they constant brightness?

Unless you spend quite a few pretty pennies on the new led bulbs, they will SLIGHTLY dim before they turn off completely. Not even close to the amount of the standard incandescent bulbs.
