my truck keeps popping inline fuse under the hood but why ?? It's the one between the ignition switch and distributor it's slowly starts to miss then blows..pictures attached.. Wen I originally blew the fuses under the hood I replaced them with the style in the pictures ..originally blew after burning a wire on the header.. Also the red wire in the picture leads to nothing ..

clean up the studs/nuts on that block? Make sure you don't have anything touching the exhaust as well.

What year is your truck? If its like my truck, that inline fuse under the hood is supposed to power the high speed blower relay, and it should have nothing to do with the distributor. Did someone change the wiring?

I kept blowing the original barrel fuse when the blower was on high, but fixed it by switching to a newer style blade fuse holder (like in your picture). You may have a problem with the blower motor if the fuse keeps blowing.

I think I was blowing a fuse cause of the way it was missing and struggling to start.. Upon further inspection my dizzy cap is all screwed up what caused this to happen?! Looks like the plastic around the ball is chipped or melted away.. Brand new fresh motor everything in and on dizzy/ignition system is new or wires plugs rebuilt hei
