the scarcity of them around here makes me wonder if I should be buying up low end trucks and parting them out myself...

i'm building a bullpen behind my shop at some point, and doing exaxtly that.

:High 5: If only you could get her to do that for you at the ***** bar right?
I think my wife considers the truck to be "our" project, and that is why she gets so into it. She still rolls her eyes at me when I do stuff to my DD.

my wife has alot of say on the 88, and stuff I like and she doesn't usually doesn't go over to well or even make it on the truck. I told her last night i guess I'm building her truck. She won't let me trade it off or anything either. yet she doesn't come out to check it out or help much at all really.

I cant get my wife into the square bodies so consider yourself lucky. She likes old trucks.... just as long as their ford.

my ex was like that... she wanted a crewcab longbed on 38s with a Cummins under the hood. i bought a crewcab when we were together for the motor... she talked about keeping it, and building it the way she wanted so much, that i want to do it even though she's been gone for a year and half.

I WISH my wife was into trucks as much I was. She likes going for rides in the 77 but doesn't care much about mods and stuff that are done/could be done to it. She's also a pain when it comes to spending money on it even, though, I'm the one the brings home the money!! :) At least she's let me take it this far, though:)

My wife is 50/50 on mods I want to do. She understands why I want to swap the V-belt setup to serpentine, she understands the tranny cooler I'm putting in this weekend and the new rear axle I have to put in this spring, but she just doesn't understand the 4" lift and 35's I want to put on Fillmore in the spring.

Women, when will they learn?!?

hahaha....My wife is the same way when it comes to any suspension mods and wheel/tire combos. Her usual response is "what's wrong with how it sits now??" (i.e. stock). My response is usually 'LOTS!' because if I try to explain it goes no where :)
