IMO, 1700 isn't bad, it's no screaming deal or anything. If it's what you like, check to see what he rattle canned over and go for it, if not, hold out.

Looks like it's been converted to heat only, looks like a plate has been inserted, they did a good job on it though. I have the A/C unit also the under dash unit for A/C..

Actually it looks like dealer or after market a/c install. I've seen a couple of them in the yard I go to and am at right now. Lol

That's a non ac truck. Or at least it appears to be now. Is there a compressor mounted up on the motor (driver's side pic of motor needed). Unless there is an aftermarket ac unit like a vintage air under the dash....no ac.


Hell, with these trucks, it could have been a cab swap at sometime given it's in the rust belt.

See if he will send you an under dash pic at the passenger side. It's add on ac but does it have the evaporator under the dash. I'm guessing it does.

And..... naturally.... as I'm knee-deep in conversation/negotiation with this guy, another truck popped up on facebook. Same truck but fleetside and it's a 78 (the year I REALLY want). Still waiting on more pics from this new one. Looks like no decision will be made today.

Do you guys see any issue with any of the rust in those pics? Obviously it needs a new hood but all the frame stuff?

Thanks guys. Probably have to wait til next week to do it. Tonight and tomorrow our schedules don't match up and it's just far enough away that I don't want to run up there too many times unless I'm ready to possibly pull the trigger when I do.
