input seal change on a np241c

ok guys how do I get the old seal out? like a front input seal on a trans? drive a screwdriver in it and knock it out? I removed the t-case to trans adapter to give more room, just not sure on how to get it out, wanna make sure before I start to hammer it.

The seal sits in a metal plate that you can remove from the transfer case by removing a few bolts. After pulling the plate off you should be able to drive the seal out easily enough.

ohh ok I saw that has 4 bolts holding it in I'll have to try that.

I'll take them four bolts out and drive the old one out to match up with a new one from the parts store soon as I get a chance.

mines done. got the seal out this morning, picked up a new one while I was out, put in back in when I got home tonight. Now I gotta reinstall the t-case adapter and put it and the trans back in the truck.
