Hi everyone, I haven't had much time to work on the 87 in a while , but where I left off before on another thread was, I had rebuilt motor and replaced all sensors, fuel tanks, pumps ,etc . Anyway, my question is about the IAC valve , mainly, what is supposed to happen with the pintle when you turn the key off and then turn key back on? The reason I ask is because when I start truck up it stumbles and seems to need to adjust a lot before it will run correctly. I think its the IAC I hear going crazy when this is happening. It just seems to act like a carburetor with a choke that isn't closing properly when you first start it and gets too much air. I'm just wondering if it isn't resetting properly. Is there a way to check this?
