Hello all,

Kind of a slow day so I took my trucks to get weighed.

1982 GMC C3500 High Sierra A/C 454 Sm465 4.56 gears 235/85R16. Both tanks topped off. 5,840 lbs no driver.

1978 Chevy C10 Scottsdale 350 th350 3.73 gears 235/75/R15. No A/C. Both tanks topped off. 4,140lbs no driver

Both turned out lighter than I thought. The RCSB I woulda guessed closer to 5k and closer to 7k for the drw. For comparison my 07 Escalade LWB was 6,8xx lbs and my C5 6spd Z51 corvette was 3,2xx lbs.

I will weigh my 76 Eldorado in a day or two.

Edit: 76 Eldorado Convertible weighs 5,180 lbs no driver and 2/3 fuel.

We have some scales just up the road from work, I need to do mine. I always kinda figured it'd be 3800-4k

The scrap yard claimed 4600 with my C20 empty. It does have PS, A/C and a T400. It has HD brakes, which are 1 ton without Hydroboost. Don't recall how much fuel.

The scale at the dump has it right at 5400lbs with full fuel and my 260lbs in the drivers seat.

My C10 is about 3800 usually after I empty at the scrap yard. That's usually with me probably 1/2 tank of fuel an my toolbox with probably 100lbs of junk in it lol.

I've scaled my truck at a material yard many times. Comes in right around 4,200lbs, empty no driver.

they leave the scales on at the truck scales all the time so i am always driving over it.
lightest was 7600 lbs with a 1/4 tank of fuel and an empty truck, heaviest was 16 100 lbs with the camper, quad trailer and the boat
