Can anyone help me identify what this cable is leading to. It is located next to the master cylinder.
It is on a 1977 GMC 350 V8 c10 Dual Tank (automatic).

The last picture is a sensor? on top it says Hold/Engage what is this?

Looks like the cruise control vacuum servo and transducer, respective to your posting order. The cable hooks to the carburetor and holds the throttle in place. Here's a cruise control diagram for a '77-'82. Oh, and you're from Delhi, LA? The only time I've almost ran out of gas was right there in your fine little town. I go to school and spend most of my time in New Orleans, but I'm from Mississippi and spending time there whenever I'm not in NOLA.

Yep, the older style Cruise Control that uses the loop through speedo cables.

Thanks a lot. Sorry for responding back so late busy trying to get the truck to run. Actually, I'm from Delhi, CA (I was in a hurry to create my account forgot to put the state my bad) It is, however, a small little town still.

Thanks man. I'll have to buy a new cable since the old one is rusted and snapped.

No worries. Plenty of small towns in the good ole U.S. of A share names. Hope you get it all working right!
