Fixing to lower a 79 C10 and can't decide on rims, Ive decided on 17's to help avoid problems with rubbing.

I've got it narrowed down to 2 choices.

1). The AR torque thrust II.

2). The rev 107 full polished rally wheel. I Also like this wheel and see it on some 67-72's . I'm thinking it might be a little to vintage for this 79.

Any opinions?

Whatever choice stay away from chrome. Chrome will flake off no matter how you take care of them. Have you considered 20" ? What about a stagger setup? There are so many options out there it's mind boggling. It took me months to decide on mine.

Definitely going polished aluminum, definitely staggering them.

No on the 20"'s, to me I feel like they are to modern looking with the low profile tires.
