Trying to decide on shorty, mid, or long tube headers. Suggestions in which is best/preferred.

Depends on how you plan to use the vehicle. Long ones for torque, short ones for HP.

Depends on how you plan to use the vehicle. Long ones for torque, short ones for HP.

Prefer for HP. Do you mean "shorties" ? Can you recommend brands?

I'm not going to get into a 'brand war'.

Pretty much it all boils down to, "How much do you want to spend?"

I will however, recommend that the ones you decide on, you get them 'ceramic heat coated' inside and out. That's money well spent.

I went with cheap long tube and painted them with ceramic paint in a rattle can. They turned out pretty decent. Also added a crosstube after the trans. No issues with bolt on. Did need some plug wire protection however. Its been 6 months and have had no issues and they sound really damn good!
