working on my 83 k10. History is I bought the truck and all oem wires were gone. Had a painless harness installed. Only enough wires were connected to make the engine run. I wired up the rest for everything I needed. Now I’m trying to tackle the hazard lights.
At the multifunction switch I see 8 wires. 4 of them go to the lights at each corner of the truck. All brake, turn, tail, headlight and marker lights work at all 4 corners. So I know those r good. One goes to the horn relay. Horn works so that circuit is good. One goes to the brake switch. Brake light works so that one is good.
I saw on rock auto a hazard relay. Where is this on your trucks and how is it wired?

I would think the Painless harness would address the hazard lights. Factory wiring has power going to the hazard flasher, then coming out of the flasher on a purple wire (I think) into the turn signal switch. I assume you have the instructions for the wiring harness?

As far as location goes, your year had it in the fuse block.

Is the turn signal flasher and hazard flasher the same one or two separate?

They’re separate units.
