Has power no turn over just click

My 81 C10 drove to work fine went to leave and truck wouldn’t start batter seemed dead so got a jump and still wouldn’t start just click. Tested starter and it was shot got it replaced and a charged battery and still just click when I try to start it. I haven’t checked the fuse box or the fusible links yet. Has anyone had similar issues or have any ideas?

I have. It was in my Jeep years ago. Started fine to go to work, went to leave for lunch and it wouldn't start. The battery had full charge but had lost its cranking amps. Got a replacement and it started just fine. Have a load test done on the battery, if it fails, you need a new one.

This missed my eye when I replaced the starter not sure what it is or what it’s supposed to connect to but it’s coming from the same bundle as the rest of the starter wires
