Has anyone converted their leafs springs to trailing arms?

So did you have to fab new brackets on the axle for that? Or did it hook up to the axle without any mods

No I didnt have to fab anything. The shocks mount to two bars that are part of the kit.

I was looking at doing the same thing to my '71 GMC, was going to get a donor c10 frame and swap the crossmember and everything into mine, just never bothered. Here is an article I found that has a few pics of doing a conversion.

if u were putting in a new suspension in a 1977 gmc seirra granda, it has springs now putting in 9inch narrowed ford, would u put 4-link parallel or 2 trailings. an y you chose, im just looking for imput. this is going to be a street/ strip truck thanks
