I've done a search, and didn't turn up much, so I'll ask before I start tearing stuff apart:

Does anyone have reference dimensions and measurments for shortbed stepside bed wood? Mine is getting pretty well shot in places, and because I'm a cheap bastard and I have the tools, I'm going to make my own replacements. Seems like I can come in under even the cheapest kits out there considering most of my hardware and whatnot is desert clean and reusable.

It'd be good to have another set of numbers to bounce mine off once I start measuring.

I'd help you if I had the numbers, but your question reminded me of this. It might be fun watching to get you thinking if you have the time. He did a homemade resto of the bed in this square, too. A tad different but still the same overarching concept.

THAT is one sweet truck! I don't need one, really, but now I really want a squarebody ramp truck :) Although a wrecker would be fun too...
Thanks for that video, man.

Spitballed the measurements, and started shopping for wood. I have the dado blade set up and did some test runs, so I think it'll go smooth.

The truck is my DD right now, so it may be a few weeks before I get to disassembly, but I'll definitely take some pics and post up my process through the whole thing.
