Any one popped off the rivets and put grade 8 bolts inplace of them. Does it tighten up the frame.... does it do any good...I saw they ..lmc.. sell frame bolt kits to do this..what would it do for the truck...

Try removing a rivet....they are plenty tight. It wont do any good to replace with a bolt unless you have one coming loose...highly unlikely though.

The rivets actually do a better job of holding the frame together. They are pressed in, so they swell up and completely fill in the holes of both pieces, even if they don't perfectly line up.
