I've read the threads about door adjustment but I'm just not seeing the answer to my question.

On my '86, the passenger door is hitting the RF fender, just enough to scratch the paint.

How do I move that door back about 1/8-3/16" I don't want to go up or down, just straight back.

Thanks in advance!

you can either move the fender forward or loosen bolts that attach door hinges to the body and that will allow for moving the door back

Yep move both door hinges at the body side of the hinge back how ever far you need.
