Anyone using these gauges?

Since my truck only has the warning lights, Fuel level and speedo (not working), Im looking at going aftermarket.

http://www.dakotadigital.com/index....t_id=782/category_id=421/mode=prod/prd782.htm

My other option, is that I can run this one.

https://www.holley.com/products/fue...auges_and_displays/lcd_displays/parts/553-106

I really like the look of the DD vs the Holley, so Im leaning heavy towards the DD. Im hoping someone has had a positive experience along with any tips on install with the DD.

Like @skysurfer said I've been running the digitial version in my '77 for a while and they've been good the whole time. I love them.

In the near future I plan on getting the VHX gauges that you have linked for my '87.

We put dakota digital vhx (carbon fiber with blue lights) in my dad's 68 camaro and he loved them except during the day the angle of them in the dash made them hard to see and DD gave us ways to fix and they didn't work and my dad got frustrated with them until we went to a car show and we talked to the CEO? I think and he said try the gauges with a black background and white light and he sent us those for no charge and we installed them and then bought them for and installed them in our 1965 impala and I am I actually just starting today to put some in my uncle's 69 firebird. Long story short they are great gauges.

Is that a custom bezel? I like the clean look without the raised boundary ridges..

It's a bezel I got from LMC. So stock reproduction

The stock panel bezels had to work with multiple trim levels, so they are made in layers.

The base layer is a black bezel with no trim, and it was used in the lower level trucks. Many trucks have an additional applique glued on top, with wood grain (various designs) or silver. Then at the Silverado trim level they also added a thin bright silver piece around the wood grain perimeter. Some of the black bezels also have a sliver paint outline on the ridge that goes around each gauge.

If you want a clean looking dash for your new gauges there are several places that sell the base black bezel.

Exactly why I went with the base bezel cuz it looked cleaner to me :)

That's what mine is and I'm not crazy about it.. I like that plain one in the picture much better...

What year truck was that one listed for?
