Control arms vs drop spindles. Which is a better lower system.

OK I am looking for guidance with my 1979 step side c10. I want to lower it either 3/4 or 3.5/5 but I am curious to know what people think about control arms. I am not looking for the cheaper route. But the better handling route. I plan on putting aftermarket sway bars to help. I want this truck to ride decent but yet handle like a dream. I want it to corner with ease.

Use spindles and coils to lower it, lowered control arms have the spring pockets way below the control arm and IMO that puts them way too close to the ground, use a control arm that doesn't lower the vehicle, just my .02 worth..

Thank you for the replies. I appreciate it. And now it gives me better insight. That was my main concern if they were to low with control arms cause of the pocket. Thank you again.
