I know on my fuse panel there are several constant positives around the orange wire in the upper left corner of the fuse box. I purchased standard motors ET 461 ignition taps, and they do not work in the battery locations. they do work in the key on ignition ports.

Does anyone know the proper plug for the battery ports?

What's it's issue, too wide for the socket? If so, trim a smidgen off the blade.

Seriously,
I have used this kit before. Each color corresponds to a plug location and they are not interchangeable.

unfortunately my old eyes are making it hard for me to tell. I think its the housing.

found another part number but everyone other than rockauto says its discontinued. Et460. Its a little more like the "batt" plug thats already there.

Ill check that autowire kit out too

There are several styles. What I did was visit a local pull and save and get a handful with wire leads for a couple dollars. Not truck specific. Many GM vehicles during the same era will work.
