If it runs and drive I think $850 is a good deal IMO but maybe it has to do with the part of the country a person is in determines what he/she thinks is a decent deal 
I'm betting if a guy was to go wave $700 in the sellers face it could be yours pretty easily if the seller is a reasonable person.

Kinda what I was thinking. Up here, at least around the Flint area, most of these ass clowns seem to think that A disassembled 454 is worth around $700. running seems to go north of a grand.
To net a runner with trans and full float rear for $700 would be a good deal.
