Bucket seats???

I have a old bench seat in my 86 silverado. I am about to redo my interior. I found a set of bucket seats and console for a 73 - 79 pickup. My question is what is different from the 73 -79 cab or mounting situation compared to my 86 silverado bench seat???

There's not much to it. You will have to drill two holes and attach two brackets to the floor. If the brackets aren't included with the seats (they are originally welded to the floor), you can get them from a Burb with bucket seats.
