I have a 9' Fischer Speedcaster - it's vintage now, but it is awesome.

Only 6" wider on either side than an 8'. But it is so heavy that - once it starts moving snow - it almost drives itself.

I have an 86 K30 but I'm sure a 3/4 ton would handle a 9 footer just as well.

They only problem is at the gas station pumps - even fully tilted, it shows a wide profile. Those extra 6" on either side make it seem like you're a "bull in a china shop".

plowed for years with seven and half blade they work well it tight areas like driveways if doing large parking an eight footer takes a little less time, nine foot will be heavy even for a three quarter , will be hard on the suspension

My '73 K-20 had an 8' Fisher Speedcast, dealer option.

The heavier blades seem to push better. I had a Fisher setup off a Ford I stuck on one of my trucks that ran off a belt driven hydraulic pump. Now that was a nice setup. That was from back in the 80's though. We have a nice Western on the F-250 at work that is really reliable. Good unit. Has the plug in remote control you hold in your hand.
