I don’t know the differences in bushing materials never had to replace many. It started the jump and shutter in first to the point I couldn’t get across intersections so I started using low yo take off and now it’s got to where you can’t even use low. I ordered the engine side pivot ball and I’ll get new motor mounts(probably just the auto part store nothing special) my 87 has hydraulic clutch and I don’t know which is worse I’ve had so many problems from the hydraulic too. I can float gears in this truck I just lose too much rpm before it drops into the next so I avoid it plus it’s bad for the synchros ;)

Everything needs to be tight on the clutch system. There is only a fraction of an inch that the pressure plate moves between disengaged and engaged. Between the motor mounts, the ball, arm, etc. you lose that fraction of an inch.
I would pull it all out and replace the clutch, pressure plate, throwout bearing and most likely the arm and ball and maybe put a bushing in the clutch pedal pivot point. Get everything tight and straight and new, and forget about it for years to come.

I’ll eventually replace it all, but for now it’s a work truck I just need it fixed for the time being and then I can accumulate parts and change them one weekend

It all works together, that's all that I am saying. Get all of the slack out of it, somehow...

If your pressure plate is coming apart or contaminated it will cause/contribute to the shudder. Leaking rear main seal or grease from a failing throw-out bearing are the usual culprits. If the bearing is squealing, its lost its grease. Sounds like you need a complete teardown and R&R.

You don't "jam" it into gear. You synchronize the gear speed with the engine by using the throttle and gently "float" it into the next gear.
Yes, I agree with you, in a perfect world with good synchro's and a foofey NV4500 you can match the engine speed with the gear speed and gently nudge it into gear. But anyone that's had to do this with a worn out old SM465 knows 1-2 is not bad, 2-3 takes a little finesse, 3-4 you try to get it close enough, then JAM it in gear and hope you don't grind them too much!

Best picture I could come up with. You can see the ball stud should be flush with the bell housing, no threads showing. and straight into the bell crank. The out of alignment could be mounts, but I think it's just the loose ball stud. The big question is the threads in the bell housing, hopefully they can be saved. Not sure if a heli-coil would hold up there, you may have to replace it

New picot ball will be here next week and I’ll replace it and the motor mounts although the engine doesn’t rotate any with revving?

I think jay and his rough rambling require the old chain er down either. Think I saw vbb talk about that before. But the aftermarket motor mounts made by… off-road design…? Look great but it’s okay. Is this 4x4,if so, your tcase mount probably is not fresh. If 2wd, check out the mounting pads too

Gonna start with motor mounts and pivot ball, eventually replace all the bushing and mounts, it’s a 78 k10, now that I think of it, I’ve mentioned before that you could feel the toque twist in the stick as you’re taking off.

ALL of your drivetrain mounts should be changed. $$ be damned! If you want this fixed reliably, that's the only way to go. You gotta bite the bullet.

I’m starting with motor mounts since I didn’t know which trans/tcase ones I needed. I’ll get them all changed, it’s a work truck for now but my little sister (14) wants the truck whenever she gets old enough. I told her I’d break and fix it until it was hers then it’s her problem lol
