I'm on my second Optima. I don't really care for lead acid sloshing around taking a beating in my boat so the AGM Optima works out nicely.
First one lasted 19 years with the last three years of that in a buddy's F150.
My second one is 11 years old and still going strong.
I gotta say that I religiously keep it hooked up to a battery tender which helps immensely.
All my vehicles get Sam's or Wally World specials and if they last five years, I consider it a win. Usually closer to three.
