Auto to Manual nv4500

I am converting an 86 k10 from auto to manual. I have a 98 nv4500 with an 86 205 t-case from automatic. How can I make this work or should I use a different T-case? Any suggestions appreciated

Do you have a t-case adapter too? I can't remember if the 4500 bolts right to the t-case or not. At any rate, both use the round pattern and 32 spline, it's just a matter of putting the two together and see if what you have is going to work. There are different input lengths for the 205.

I do not have an adapter which by eyeballin em it is going to need one. As far as the adapter goes any ideas where to start there?

You need to get the hydraulic pedal assembly also there kinda hard to find better start searching eBay now

thanks outlaw will any aftermarket hydrolic clutch work or do i have to get specific pedal to slave cylinder to tranny?

i have a 94 nv4500 it has the round bolt pattern adapter on the case

i took the 241 driver side drop off and bolted a 208 on it

i have a round pattern 205 and i think all that is needed is to swap the input gear to the short one and it will bolt on. but a t case shift lever mount needs to be fabbed up.


i am not 100 percent sure that swapping the input is all that is needed but i am going to try it this summer when i get my 4l80 done. only 1 tranny project at a time.
