Is it just a matte finish paint, or is it a powder coating that they use at the factory? I am going for an OEM look, not the common rust-oleum aerosol overhaul.
Thanks!

It's just basic paint from the factory.

Ain't nothing wrong with a proper spray job. Just do good prep work and don't spray everything on the motor the same color. I find that Duplicolor semi-gloss black engine enamel is perfect for the brackets and pulleys. The color is a very close match for original and it holds up well too. I like to use gloss black on the block and heads, and accessory bolts get low-gloss black usually.

The key is to get everything spotless, scuff it with a red scuff pad, then spray on a couple nice, even, smooth coats of paint.
