I'm creating this thread because the people here are active and the Dodge Ram forum is inactive. So talk about any Dodge you want here

My first non hand me down car was a 64 Barracuda and later a 69 Dodge Charger entered the picture. Never owned a Dodge truck but saw an ad for a late sixties model with a 383 that got me to dreaming. I had some experience with Dodge vans from the eighties and early 90’s and I liked them.

My dad drove a 72 Charger with a built Chrysler 400 big block that ate transmissions like a mf.

I doubt that is limited to Dodges. We get a lot of northern trucks down in our area and rust bucket describes them perfectly.

My brother and I shared a dodge Omni at one point when I just turned 16. Freakin huge pile of garbage lol

I do like the old square style dodge trucks. Those are a good looking truck. I hate the rest lol

I also like the old mopar muscle cars. I’d own a general lee any day.

Was it eating 727’s? They stood up pretty well to 440’s and 426’s.

I just remembered that the first turbo car I ever drove was a 1985 Dodge Daytona. I was impressed at the time with the power of the 2.2 four turbo. Ended up waiting and buying a 1986 Mustang GT, first year of sequential port injection on the 5.0.

@89Suburban loves Dodges and has had a few.

Ohio is littered with rust buckets too, and I have owned my fair share. It's where my user name comes from... The type of vehicle I tend to own.

Never have owned a Dodge. They have some good looking designs but I don't trust the fit and finish. Talking to owners, they complain about squeaks, rattles, and random **** falling off. Makes perfect sense that they are owned by Fiat.

Say what you want about a dodge, but the 12v p-pump Cummins is one of the greatest engines of all time. Easily capable of over 700tq or capable of ~25mpg in a full-size. Pretty amazing.

Yeah, and I can shove a diamond up a pig's ass but it's still a pig.
