86 k5 long tube headers

does any one have any recommendations for a decent set of long tube headers that will bolt up to an 86 k5 without any modifications (besides the a/c bracket)? bought a set of jegs headers that said they were for a k5 but my mechanic says they dont fit, what have you guys used and had good luck with without breaking the bank?

Hedmans, Hookers. I have a couple of sets that work on my 4 speed truck. I will look and see if they are marked with a brand name or anything. What did the mechanic say didn't fit about them.

he said the tube coming off the first cylinder on the passenger side wouldn't clear the motor mount
