Ok, so I had to drop my transmission to send it off to be rebuilt and swapped to a new case because the old case was cracked. When i went to pull the cross member I noticed that the bolts had spacers on them, but they were not between the cross member and the frame rails. The cross member was tight up to the frame rail. Is that right? It doesn't seem like it would be right. Why would they have spacers there if they weren't supposed to be between the cross member and the frame rail? When I installed the transmission and cross member I put the spacers back where I thought they should be, in between the cross member and they frame. I'm hoping this is right.
