4x4 in front

what size wheels can i put on i had the problem with the front 4x4 being to big for some wheels i tried on facebook

Welcome to the site. Do you want aftermarket wheels or would you like to run the factory style Rallye wheels that would have been an option on the '81? I have 33x12.50 on the factory 15x8 Rallye wheels on my '82 K15. An aftermarket wheel with the right offset could get you rolling too; you just have to be careful of the negative offset and tire size as they will get into the fenders real quick. The 33's on mine don't have much room to spare at all. They would rub if they were 10" wide.

I assume you're referring to the 4x4 hubs being too big and not letting the wheels slide on. You could measure the outside of your hubs with a digital caliper and then just verify the center bore measurement of any wheel you're looking at before going through the hassle of trying to fit the wheel on the truck.
