Does body control module control ac??

Ac is not acting as set.

On dual setting AC controls the left knob should set both sides temperatures. It does not. It should work left side only, only after the right side is adjusted.

Also must set heat on max in order to get any heat out.

I have no idea but will follow as I have a 2015 Regal turbo in the family. So far no problem but it only has 7000 miles on it.

That makes two of us following. We have a 2017 Regal 2.0T. The car is as fun to drive as my 2007 Forester 2.5 XT Limited.

Body control modules take charge of just about everything anymore.

First things to check or look into:
Refrigerant charge
Put a scanner on it (could have HVAC codes)
Look up the electrical schematics if further diagnosis is needed

My moms truck did something similar after replacing a battery, I had to google calibrating the ac module to resolve the issue. Might give it a try.
