I have a 6" lift and 35s and I don't think you could clear them with much less. Mine are about even with the fender so they don't stick out. And I have a body lift and don't recommend them because your fuel tanks will hang down below the body.

You have pics of what your 6in body lift looks like
I was thinking body lift would b the cheaper easyer option

Going to bigger tires to drop your RPM's is going to put more stress on your transmission. If you are thinking lower RPM's for better MPG's, this is not the route I would suggest. Overdrive transmission is going to be the best route.

edit: 87silveradok20 most likely has a 6" suspension lift. There are no 6" body lifts out there.

315/75/16 which is like a 34.5. I've never measured to see what they are exactly but that's what the metric conversion is.

That's a good combo with stock size tires, you should be able to run 75 mph all day long and it won't hurt a thing.

Was using an rpm calculater and it was saying

Axle Gear Ratio: : 373
Tire Diameter: 31 Inches
Vehicle Speed: 65 MPH
Transmission Ratio: : 1

Engine Speed: 2628 RPMs

Thats 3000 Rpms at 75
Seems high to me

It's only high if economy is the goal, or if you are running a diesel. A trans swap is a lot of effort to gain 1 or 2 miles per gallon.
